Well it’s been far too long since I made a post to my blog and I have a very good excuse: I have been in Australia over Christmas and before that I was busy with Amplified08 and the sad task of closing down Xenial Ltd at the end of the year. Yes, I’m back on the consultancy market, as my parent company has had to rationalise its investments and while Xenial was profitable, it was also such a small business that it was expendable, so my parent company have decided to wrap up the business and it effectively closes for good in February. In the meantime, I’m doing some consultancies as well as exploring new senior management opportunities.
I had a fabulous Christmas in Oz though, and I want to take this opportunitiy to thank my Mum for putting me up (and putting up with me), and to all the people who came to see me whilst I was there so briefly.
I’m back in London now and madly doing research on Social Media for a number of events I’m speaking at or helping to mount over coming weeks, and I’ve been updating my Twitter feed on a regular basis with everything from research observations to the banal.
Expect more regular updates from today – one of my New Year’s Resolutions is to write a post a day on whatever I’m working on.
