This week is a very busy one for me, where I’ll be using all my skills as a social media and emergent technology commentator. Tomorrow I’m heading to Amsterdam for the Orange Business Live event. There I’ll be conducting interviews, doing live blogging of the event and generally capturing as much as possible on the opportunities to be derieved from emergent information and communication technologies. It should be a cracker of an event, and I’m looking forward to working with a fabulous team of social media commentators to deliver the ideas presented at the event to the world.
Then on Thursday I have an early flight from Amsterdam to Finland (via Copenhagen) to be in time for the Like Minds Finland Conversation event, Real Time in Real Life, where I’m delivering a keynote address on Virtual as the New Real.
Like Minds is still the best conference I’ve ever been associated with. Scott and Drew and the team behind Like Minds do an amazing job organising their events and delivering on their promises of thought-provoking, business-ready idea development. I’m looking forward to the Conversation event, as well as the summit on Friday, where we’re looking at how social media can be used to engage and motivate entire countries.
It promises to be a fascinating few days. Even if you can’t be there, watch this blog and my twitter feed to enjoy the ride!
