Joanne is an award-winning digital strategist and company director. She advises firms on executive management skills, digital change management and social data analysis. She is a regular mentor of startups and she sits on various advisory boards. With a long history in academia and a research focus on technology policy, social media, interaction design and technology mediated education, Joanne blends understanding of technology capability with business and professional development in her consulting. Joanne co-edited the book, Uses of Blogs (2006) and she is an Industry Fellow at University of Technology Sydney.

Joanne regularly contributes book chapters to both academic and business texts. She writes for her company newsletter, and she occasionally blogs at LinkedIn and on Medium. She has also been a successful ghost blogger for business executives.
